Snoop Dog embarking on his second rap group endeavor

MC Serch from the late 80’s rap group 3rd Bass recently had Too Short on his Serch Says podcast. In the interview Too Short revealed some surprising news about the fact that he is going to be apart of a supergroup with three of his fellow West Coast Hip Hop legends… E-40, Ice Cube and Snoop Dog.

Over the years the 4 had been interchangeably performing sold out shows together, as a sort of old-school West Coast reunion show.

Too Short explains, “So I get a call during the early part of the quarantine from E-40 and Ice Cube going, ‘Man, we feel like we should do an album. Like me, you … it’s E-40, Cube, Too $hort and Snoop Dogg. And I’m like — E-40 and Too $hort from the Bay, Snoop Dogg and Cube are from L.A. and we like the West Coast foundation. We sat there and was like, ‘Fuck it, let’s do it.’ So, We started coming up with beats”

Despite quarentine, the four have had no issues collaborating as all four of them have in-home studios and have been able to send beats and verses back and forth with their phones.

When Serch pressured Too Short for the name of the group, he wouldn’t give it up. — at least not yet. Fans can expect the Supergroup to drop in 2021.
