The hitmaker 21Savage has released ‘Runnin’ as his first video from the latest album production ‘Savage Mode 2’ with Metro Boomin. The song is alright, with a pretty hard beat and some decent lines. The track opens up with Diana Ross, 21 then takes over with his gang banging savagery.
The premise of the video is basically him parading his 2019 Grammy for the track ‘A lot’ around his home town of Atlanta, in the hood with various hood rat women, gangsters and crack heads. A pretty funny clip where 21 is basically communicating that despite his success, he came from the gutter. The contrasting effect of the grammy and the gritty streets and characters further illustrates 21’s creative nous. A celebratory lap for his success, despite humble beginnings.
In the clip Metro wears a Three 6 Mafia on his shirt and a MAGA-inspired hat, which reads “Make DJ Paul and Juicy J Three 6 Mafia again.”
