Verzuz thus far has been somewhat of a revelation to the rap game of late. One feels that it has got popular at the right time with COVID 19 rampant accross the globe and concerns now being untenable. Next up is 2Chainz VS Rick Ross, the ‘high roller edition.’
The event goes down on Thursday (August 6) at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET.
The press release states that episodes will be simulcast live on Apple Music and Beats 1, also live on the Verzuz Instagram channel. They will also be exclusively available via Apple Music on-demand following the live stream. Apple Music mentioned plans to work with Swizz and Timbaland to produce new episodes of Verzuz to “continue giving fans a truly premium, high quality shared experience.”
Many comments on the post above say they feel Rozay will smash 2Chainz, which I don’t quite agree with.
Personally, I actually prefer 2Chainz for his original style, though Rick Ross does also have his own thing also. Two ‘top notch,’ to use Australian colloquial language, Southerners.
Rozay also gets alot of hate due to the fact that he used to be a police officer. Both can’t win and seem hated among the masses.
